Eli Brenner specializes in business valuations, transaction advisory, and damage quantification. He has over 20 years of experience working closely with business owners, lawyers, private equity firms, lenders, and boards of directors to deliver practical, well-supported advice tailored to complex financial situations.
Eli is known for providing clear, thoughtful analysis and pragmatic solutions in high-stakes situations, combining strong technical expertise with a practical understanding of the challenges businesses and their stakeholders face.
Eli has been involved in numerous recent mandates in valuation, transaction advisory, and damage quantification. A few recent examples include: (i) providing a fairness opinion to the Special Committee of the Board of Directors of FLYHT Aerospace Solutions Ltd. in connection with its sale to Firan Technology Group Corporation; (ii) acting as an independent valuation expert in connection with a mediation involving the sale of a minority ownership interest in a privately held construction company; (iii) providing financial due diligence services, including a Quality of Earnings Report, to a strategic buyer and its senior lender in connection with the acquisition of a privately held manufacturer of plastic-injected products for industrial applications; and (iv) acting as an independent financial expert in connection with an arbitration involving a post-purchase dispute arising from the acquisition of a privately held healthcare business by a large publicly traded strategic acquirer.
Eli holds the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) designations.
Eli is actively involved in professional and community organizations, including sitting on the audit committee of the CBV Institute and several other not-for-profit organizations. Eli also serves on the CBV’s AI and Technology Committee, which assesses how AI and other technologies will affect business valuation and litigation support work and develops guidance for CBVs on the use of emerging technologies in their practice.
Prior to Soriano Mizrahi de Gray Inc., Eli was a Managing Director at a leading boutique valuations and corporate restructuring firm. Prior to that, he was a Senior Manager at a national accounting and advisory firm in its corporate finance and valuations practice. Eli started his career in the audit and assurance practice of a Big 4 accounting firm.
