Managing Director

Neil de Gray is a Managing Director of Soriano Mizrahi de Gray inc.  Since 2010, Neil’s practice has focused exclusively on valuation, economic loss analysis, damages quantification and litigation support services. Neil has prepared and critiqued numerous expert reports in both litigious and non-litigious matters including business valuations, shareholder disputes, class actions, tax disputes, IP litigation, and forensic accounting investigations. Neil has experience across a wide variety of industries including infrastructure, oil and gas, hospitality, consumer goods, food and beverage, and technology.

 

Neil has been qualified as an expert in business valuation and corporate finance and has testified in Canadian courts.

  

Neil obtained his Bachelor of Commerce (High Distinction – Director’s Award for Academic Excellence) from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) placing on the National Honour Roll on the 2008 UFE as a top 1% exam writer and is a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV). Neil also holds a Certificate in Financial Forensics (CFF).

 

Neil has authored many articles and presentations on business valuation and corporate finance topics. He is actively involved with the Canadian

Institute of Chartered Business Valuators serving on several committees.

 

Prior to Soriano Mizrahi de Gray Inc., Neil was a Managing Director at a leading boutique valuations and corporate restructuring firm. Prior to that, he worked at an international consulting firm based on Toronto.
